Nicole Jorgenson, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Jorgenson in a New Jersey native who received her bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University and her veterinary degree from the University of Missouri. In veterinary school, Dr. Jorgenson was a participant in the Veterinary Research Scholars Program, president of Pet Assisted Love and Support (a pet-therapy club that visited hospitals and nursing homes), gold- member and executive board member for the Veterinary Business Management Association, and graduated magna cum laude.

Upon graduation, she started practicing emergency medicine at a large specialty hospital in St. Louis. She later moved to the Seattle area and spent three years in general practice, all while enjoying the beautiful mountains of the Pacific Northwest. Dr. Jorgenson moved back to New Jersey in 2020 and is looking forward to serving the communities of her home state!
Dr. Jorgenson’s special interests include emergency medicine, wound management, soft tissue surgery, and educating/involving clients in decisions regarding their pets’ healthcare.

Her favorite thing to do is spend time outdoors with her husband and 1-year-old son. Dr. Jorgenson has two pets - a German Shepherd named Farina and a cat named Dunkin. She also loves baking, hiking, reading, and traveling.
